Acupuncture

Where conventional drugs have failed, patients often find acupuncture and electro-acupuncture can generally provide pain relief and overall improvement in the following conditions:

Saving sight in the following conditions provided they are diagnosed and treatment is started early enough: Treatment is WITHOUT NEEDLES

It can be used to increase immunity in a variety of conditions and in many instances, although not curative, can provide temporary pain relief, eg. for conditions as widely varying as toothache to osteo-arthiritis of the hip.

Acupuncture can be used to stimulate fertility and conception.  It is also particularly useful after surgery to relieve pain and speed up the natural healing process.

Micro-current stimulation (without needles) can also be used and patients can be trained to treat themselves using a simple hand-held device.  This is especially useful in treating eye conditions in conjunction with nutritional support.  Please see the page on Naturopathy for more information on eye condition that respond well.  The 10 point programme for eye conditions needs to be followed for a minimum of 72 days.

PLEASE NOTE:
ONLY STERILE, DISPOSABLE, NEEDLES ARE USED IN THIS PRACTICE.  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RISK OF CROSS-INFECTION.  IF YOU ARE A BLOOD DONOR, WE WILL SUPPLY YOU WITH A CERTIFICATE AS REQUIRED BY THE BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICES.

OSTEOPATHY AND ACUPUNCTURE COMBINE VERY WELL TOGETHER AND OFTEN PRODUCE MORE RAPID RESULTS IN COMBINATION THAN ALONE.  YOU CAN OPT TO HAVE BOTH TREATMENTS IN YOUR HALF HOUR SESSION AFTER YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
